Choose how to buy

Four clear ways into the market.

Compete for a lot, buy from a nearby shop, ask several merchants for offers, or appoint a verified agent to source and bid for you.

01 · Bid

Auctions

See what is live, what closes next, and the exact bid required. Every lot shows condition, provenance, and timing.

02 · Buy now

Shop nearby

Find verified independent merchants by location, see who is open and ready, and buy from current local inventory.

03 · Ask the market

Tenders

Post one clear brief for a bottle, a cellar, or an event. Invite nearby merchants and compare their offers in one place.

04 · Appoint an expert

My Buying

Write one structured mandate, set hammer and all-in ceilings, approve each opportunity, and let a verified agent source across external auctions.

On the block

Live lots

Small parcels with the hammer still up. Quantity, condition, and the current high bid are on the card.

All live lots

No lots are live. Browse upcoming parcels or ask the curator to open a lot.

Upcoming lots

Trust

Nothing goes live unverified.

  • House or confirmed seller

A bottle is confirmed by the house, or vouched by a confirmed seller. Auction lots still need the house before they open.

  • Clear state

Unconfirmed, pending, confirmed by house, or confirmed by a named seller. The chip is on the ticket.

  • Confirmation papers

Anyone may sell. Apply if you want the badge — and the right to vouch for a peer bottle.

  • Reserve stays in the room

You will see whether a reserve is in play. The figure itself is not a public ask.

How the room works

A lot is not a listing in a shop.

Consign, confirm, schedule. Bid while the lot is open. Or buy a confirmed bottle at a fixed price — a request, not a checkout.

  1. 01

    Read the parcel

Producer, vintage, bottle count, fill, condition, and cellar note. Opening price is the floor, not a buy-now.

  2. 02

    Place a bid

Sign in, meet the increment, and take the high paddle. History stays on the lot.

  3. 03

    Hammer and settle

If the reserve is met, the high bid wins. Settlement is invoiced directly through Stripe, transparently tracked from payment to white-glove dispatch.

Bespoke procurement

03 · Seamless settlement

Award single or split parcels

Select a single merchant or split awards across multiple cellars. Your deposit is credited instantly toward the final Stripe invoice.

The book

Condition, reserve, settlement.

Every lot is a small batch. We publish what the cellar gave us and keep the reserve discreet until the hammer decides.

Request a paddle
  • Condition on the ticket

Fill level, labels, capsules, storage. No tasting-note theatre — the bottle as it stands.

  • Reserve stays in the room

You will see whether a reserve is in play. The figure itself is not a public ask.

  • Winner, then paper

Closed lots that clear reserve open a settlement: pending, invoiced, paid.
